Dr. Bryan Coyne is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Business & Social Sciences, ATU Sligo. He has over a decade of experience conducting peer-reviewed research into climate, energy, education and telecommunications.

Within OSCAR, Bryan is supervising research into the digital and sustainability journeys of small and medium enterprise.

His published research has focused on a review of residential retrofit, the economics of energy efficiency from residential policies to industrial energy demand. Prior to this, Bryan was part of a study funded by the Climate Change Advisory Council of Ireland to explore residential decarbonisation pathways.
